T'ien Shan P'ai Chin-Na: Grappling Art of Self-Defense
By Willy Lin
The author reveals the ancient form of opponent control known as the Chin-Na style of T'ien Shan P'ai Kung Fu. Based on the concept of quickly seeking out the natural weakness in the body of the attacker, grasping and efficiently manipulating. Lin outlines the theory of Chin-Na, then progresses to teaching rarely seen throws, chokes, restraining techniques and defenses against an array of attacks. 6x9. 160 pages. An original Ohara/Black Belt book, republished by rights owner, Century Martial Arts.
Willy Lin studied under Wang Jyne Jen, the sole inheritor of the 'Robe and Bowl' of the T'ien Shan P'ai (Celestial Mountain School of Chinese Boxing) and became his teaching assistant and disciple. He came to the United States in 1970 and began to spread this unique martial arts style.
