DIGITAL E-BOOK
During the early 1970's, Richard Kim was famous for giving lectures to his students at his Summer Camps all over the world. Kim, a famous historian and author of several books, would on occasion, give a very rare series of lectures on Yoshida Kotaro and Yoshida's teach Sokaku Takeda. Kim first met Yoshida in Japan in the 1930's when he was a merchant marine. Yoshida was very reclusive, but was known to have taught Mas Oyama and Moihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido. In this book, Don Warrener uses many of Kim's lecture notes to recreate what it was like to have Yoshida as a teacher, and eventually a live in house guest in Yokohama, Japan. 87 pages.
