Handcrafted one-piece Mahagony hardwood practice Kuekue or Hawaiian practice knife with simulated point and integrated guard. This is one of the primary weapons of Hawaiian Lua and other polynesian martial arts. Used by ancient Hawaiian warriors for close hand-to-hand combat, and to 'clean-up' when a wounded opponent went down. This was also a favorite lightweight weapon of older warriors. 12 inch long, 4 inch wide. Made in the USA. Actual Kuekue were crafted of native Koa hardwood embedded with razor-sharp tiger shark teeth for easy slicing. Each shark tooth was double stitched to the Koa base for strength in combat.
