Hayward Nishioka is a legend in the Japanese martial art of Judo. In 1977, he was inducted into the "Black Belt Hall of Fame" as "Judo Instructor of the Year". This world-class champion's judo career began in the United States and eventually took him to study at the famed Kodokan Judo Institute in Tokyo, Japan. As a martial arts competitor, teacher and lecturer, Sensei Hayward Nishioka has acquired skills and insights into this art that are respected around the world.
