Norman Leff started training as a teenager, more than 50 years ago, and rapidly attained proficiency in several systems. While working in South America, Norman met a man named Kenji Tanaka. Tanaka, a former Japanese Imperial Marine, was well versed in the aspects of Jiu-Jitsu not conventionally taught to the public, even in Japan! For several years, Norman trained under Tanaka-sensei, and today he holds the rank of headmaster in this rare and dynamic system of Jiu-Jitsu.
