Kajukenbo is a hybrid martial art developed in Hawaii in the late 1940s by five martial arts masters; Adriano Emperado, Joseph Holck, Peter Young Yil Choo, Frank Ordonez and Clarence Chang. Its main emphasis is to develop techniques that are practical and effective on the street. Kajukenbo training incorporates a blend of striking, kicking, throwing, takedowns, joint locks and weapon disarmament.
