Yari Spear & Shinai DVD Sueyoshi Akeshi

In this DVD Master Sueyoshi Akeshi teaches serious study of Yari; and more specifically the So-Jutsu; with 10 solo drills and kihon. While the difficulty common to all these movements is the distance control; due to the size of the weapon; in the hands of Master Akeshi it is easily handled by his usual skills. Also presented in this DVD the Kumidashi Hiden; which are executed with Fokuro-Shinai; it is certainly the most desirable weapon for the study of this group of 10 techniques. The speed of movements taught requires intense concentration by both practitioners; since the risk of accident is most certainly present. Therefore; the use of Shinai Fokuro minimizes these risks.
