Based on the same Hong Kong comic that inspired Andrew Lau's fantasy action blcokbuster The Storm Riders; animated film Storm Rider - Clash of Evils continues the fantastical martial arts adventrues of brooding swordsmen Wind and Clowd. Directed by Dante lam ( The Best Stalker); Clash of Evils essentially picks up where the live-action film left off; opening with Wind and Cloud defeating evil overlord Conquer. Te final duel; however; owakens the Kylin Blood withing Wind; turning hm into a powerful and uncontrollable monster. Clud manages to contain Wind; but he gets injured in the process and loses his memory. Separated from each other; Cloud joins a gang of street thieves and begins a new life; while Wind vows to never fall to the dark side again.
